This series is inspired by a previous work, self portrait No.2. Double minds work on the same person, day to day. I kept wondering, does it make people to show double faces? So I started to read books about it and I learned aesthetics is part of philosophy topics, together with ethics and logics. I thought, what a perfect theme to paint with. Each topic has two sides, showing two sides of one human being's mind.
So I had the paintings above. Each one is consisted of one being with double faces. They stand on the stage, performing, and living.
